The Arc-Solano is a private, non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who, with the assistance of staff, plan and develop needed programs and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Art@Arc is the creative arts program within the agency. Established in 1995, Art@Arc provides consumers with a safe, supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere in which they can explore their creative voices. The freedom to create and the freedom to make individual choices are the cornerstones of this program, which provides consumers with the opportunity to gain recognition and increase self-esteem. The program curriculum currently includes painting, drawing, sculpture, black and white photography, textiles, mosaic, collage and ceramics. Consumers exhibit their art in a variety of venues. Our Community Gallery provides a wonderful showcase with exhibitions planned throughout the year. Exhibits in public galleries, cafés, bookstores, etc. provide a valuable outreach to the community at large. Soon you will be able to find profiles of our consumer-artists, portfolios of their work, and online tour of our gallery, and schedules and applications for workshops.

"Frozen Vision" Photography Exhibition The Art@Arc Photography Club will be exhibiting a collection of their photography in the Community Gallery from October 18 to November 30 . A reception is scheduled for October 18, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at The Arc-Solano.
