Don’t forget to write letters to the Governor and your representatives stating your position regarding issues in the budget that affect you, your family, and/or The Arc-Solano and its programs. Hand-written letters are most effective. This is very important to all of us. If you need help or addresses, give us a call.

Did you know that we have a fairly extensive library? Our featured tome today is “Reflections from a Different Journey, What Adults with Disabilities Wish All Parents Knew,” edited by Stanely D. Klein, Ph.D., and John D. Kemp, with a foreword by Marlee Matlin. This is an extremely worthwhile read and it is available for anyone to come in and check it out.
